Message Body:
Hi Ladies, I received my 5 year walking papers to come back annually for check ups last fall. I would often wonder if that day would ever come! Thinking back 5 years ago, I had a lot of support from family and friends, but lacked support from others with OVCA. I now have a new friend with OVCA, who has a friend with OVCA... We are beginning to talk about forming a support group or exploring groups that already exist specifically focused on OVCA patients past and present. Our one caveat is that we are from the suburban md area- Bethesda, Rockville, Silver Spring (though distances are short in our small state). I would love for anyone interested in exploring this idea to please email me at kgmoen@aol.com. Or if you are a part of a support group I would love to hear about it. Thanks so much. With best wishes to all in the new year. karol
