Message Body:
I just scheduled a f/u appt in March and as always find myself contemplating my past and future health. June 2nd will be my five year mark. Time to celebrate? Well yes, but actually I celebrate every day since my last treatment. I admittedly was a miserable patient and am grateful daily for feeling well. When I think of those of you going through treatments now, I like to think that my success can transfer to hope and success for all of you. My second thought for the day is support. While I didn't participate in any online support groups, I did greatly enjoy the friendship I made with a fellow patient I met at a chemo session. Who else to better understand and share the ups and downs. I would have also loved to be in touch with a survivor to coach me along. Well, now I can be the coach.... Anyone in need of coaching? Or any ideas to keep this network moving forward?? I will be in touch. Karol
