Message Title: I am a survivor

Message Body:
I am a three year survivor of Stage 111C Clear Cell Carcinoma - Ovarian. I was very fortunate to get treatment at Johns Hopkins. I underwent surgery and had 6 cycles of Carbo/Taxol. I have remained cancer free. My first encounter with the Drs.at Hopkins was very impressive. I had just picked up my husband from Interventional Radiology at the other end of the hospital to have my first appointment. He was in a wheel chair and I made it in time. THe reception I received was reassuring and friendly. I always felt like I was in "good" hands. I survived the surgery and then started the first round of chemo. Boy was I scared! I must say that it was no way near as bad as I had anticipated. The nurses at Weinberg and the entire staff always put me at ease. The side effects also were no way near as bad as I anticipated. The first week was always the hardest but it never prevented me from doing many activities. When I look back to those 18 weeks of treatment, I do not have any bad memories. You will get through this and survive.
