Gynecologic Oncology
Patients receiving evaluation and treatment at Johns Hopkins come from all over the country, and even the world - especially those seeking specialized surgical treatment or adjuvant therapy for ovarian cancer with us. BOSS Clinic
If you or someone in your family has been diagnosed with breast cancer or ovarian cancer and you want to know more about your risk of developing these diseases, make an appointment with our Breast and Ovarian Surveillance Service (BOSS) by contacting Linda Thompson, BOSS Referral Coordinator, at (410) 502-7082.  She will obtain the appropriate information about you and schedule an appointment for you.
A pre-visit questionnaire and family history form will be sent to you to be completed prior to your visit. Information on the clinic location, directions and parking will also be sent to you.

Pathology Consultation Service
For a second opinion on your pathology report, make an appointment with one of our specialists by calling (410) 955-2405.  This second opinion requires only that you or your doctor send your slides to us. No additional surgery is necessary. To have your slides reviewed at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutes, Division of Gynecologic Pathology, fax slides to Consult Office (410) 614-7712 or mail slides to:

Those requesting counseling can be seen individually, as a couple, or with the entire family. The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center's Cancer Counseling Center has convenient locations in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Image Recovery Center
The Image Recovery Center is located on the first floor of the Weinberg building in the waiting room.  Everyone is entitled to a free consultation, to make an appointment or for more information call (410) 502-5623.

Imaging Services
To schedule an appointment for an ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET) Scan, combined PET/CT Scan, or an MRI at the Johns Hopkins Ovarian Cancer Center of Excellence, you will need a physician referral.  Please call (410) 955-4100 or have your physician complete the downloadable referral form below.
